^Lot 758a Document Cask

or Case marked from the Western Costume Co. on the bottom. Brass lion overlay is in English-style. Purportedly "Golden Age" of film used to contain the Magna Carta in films depicting Richard the Lion-Hearted. From the Estate of C.W. Moody, a well known dealer, collector, and supplier of props to film and stage. He stated, "used in Robin Hood" but no evidence was found at the time of cataloging. Very well made in oak and brass with velvet lining. Measures 18 1/2"long x 5 1/2" deep x 6" tall.
